There are also double guy lines for extra stability and a ground sheet. Fire is not recommended in this model. Setting Up
  • Lay the Tipi tent so that the Zip at the entrance is facing you and the point at the top is facing away from you, spread the base out in front of your feet.
  • locate the 'T' strap (this is a loose black strap) this helps you maintain a good shap when you put it up.
  • looking at the zip count 3 peg straps to the left and behind it is a clip, clip in one of the clips from the longest part of the T strap.
  • Looking at the zip count 4 peg straps to the right and clip in behing.
  • The remaining short section of the T strap connect in at the back approximately behind the 6th peg strap right of the zip.
  • Peg in the three points at which you connected the strap making sure the slack has been gently pulled in on the T strap.
  • Its best to put on the top hat at this stage while its still on the ground. Tie off three quick release knots to the side bottom guy tabs to hold it there until its up. (after its up the top hat wraps around and slightly overlaps by connecting the top hat guylines to the base pegs or connecting them via quick release knots to the bottom guy tabs.
  • Insert the Pole, site it just in front of where the T strap converges.
  • Continue to peg the base pegs leaving only 1.5" perturding  (do not tighten the peg straps at this stage.)
  • When your happy you have given the front sections enough slack so you can zipp the door easily you can start to tighten the peg straps at the base.
  • The T strap can be removed or left in place.
  • The Guy lines now need to be pegged out. Use two guys attached to one peg in calm weather and one guy per peg in wind.
  • Now insert the ground sheet, this clips in to any available clips at the base on the inside.
  • Done!
